Tarun E Hutchinson, Ph.D.

Dr. Hutchinson is an Immuno-Virologist (CELL EXPLORER) with expertise in a wide range of microscopy and imaging techniques. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee, India, and has spent the past two decades conducting advanced research at leading institutions. His research spans Immuno-Virology, with a particular focus on extracellular vesicles, AAVs, membrane trafficking, lipid raft signaling, and the endocytic and exocytic pathways involved in the transport of diverse cellular components. His deep interest in virology has led him to investigate Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) and several other viruses in the McIntosh Lab.
